Why Roofing System Information?
This is a way for us to inventory your roofing system(s) for your and our records. This information will identity the location of all roof penetrations, roof drains and roof top units such as HVAC units and exhaust fans and over time indicate their effect on your roofing system. It will document the age of the roofing system(s). It will identify rooftop traffic areas and any needs for walkways or additional layers of membrane to be installed to protect and maintain the roofing system.
All this information provides a baseline on your roofing system(s)’s condition to track its (or their) condition over each system’s life span.
This information will become the basis for you decision making on roofing system repair and replacement. You will be able to make clear decisions about allocating limited budget dollars to where they are needed most. You will able to confidently plan for major repairs and replacements.
Weisman Roofing Preventive Maintenance
We customize our PM services to the age and condition of your roofing system(s).
Our can PM services can include any or all of the following:
- Visual inspections of the roof (Membrane, flashings, sheet metal, drains, gutters, leaders, masonry, etc.)
- Survey documentation (written reports, photo documentation, and roof plan)
- Inspections or surveys of roofing systems can be semi-annually, annually or bi-annually.
- Minor repairs are made at the time of inspection. All debris is removed; gutters, leaders and drains are cleaned.
- Budgeting for roof repairs (or replacement if necessary)
Each Weisman technician carries a digital camera documenting any serious roof deficiencies. Pictures are emailed to assist in any decisions which may need to be made. All pictures are included with the inspection report.
