Our Lady of Providence Center (The Aldrich Estate)

The Rhode Island landmark, the Aldrich Estate in Warwick combined Weisman Roofing's experience and in-depth knowledge of modern commercial roofing systems and historic roof restorations.

The original building dates back to 1896, and is set on beautiful grounds. This historic building is often used as the setting for weddings and other functions, so all work completed had to be consistent with, or out of site of, the existing construction and character.

Weisman Roofing installed an EDPM single-ply membrane roofing system and performed slate repairs and copper work to renew the structure’s barn roof. On the high visibility roof areas, historically correct custom slate and copper work was performed. The existing copper was coated with a liquid rubber coating, and the old skylights were repaired.

On some less visible sections, a PVC single-ply membrane roofing system and elastomeric coatings were applied. These products were selected by Weisman because for their appearance, functionality and durability. Weisman also installed modified bitumen commercial roofing systems on the outlying parochial school buildings.
